Oakland police, during better days -believe it or not - when they were not so restricted in how they could handle city riots and crime. Now, the police are largely neutered when it comes to violence on the streets as few arrests  have come out of  the multitude of recent city skirmishes by protestors, be it 'Occupy Oakland,' 'Anti-Trump' or anything else.

Think Oakland can't get any worse?
Forbes calls Oakland, California, the third-most dangerous city in America. It tops the state in violent crime and has a robbery and car-theft rate three-to-four times the state's average.

And, of course, city leaders have voted Oakland to be a sanctuary city against Federal laws.
Meanwhile , the best that might be said about Oakland was being the first city have a marijuana dispensary and now even has a marijuana 'college' of sorts 'Oaksterdam U.'   But,  give Oakland credit for their winning basketball team - not so much the mayor dancing upon her float with MC Hammer - even though the team will be moving to San Francisco in two years. It wasn't but a few months ago that Oakland was the scene of the biggest human loss in a fire where over 30 were killed in a ramshackle warehouse where they were living and/or partying ;  the few inspections made on the property were ignored and not enforced. I similar fire, without the deaths, would occur in another warehouse only months later.  Oakland also  had the biggest city fire in decades in the 1990s with over 2000 homes lost after fire precautions were not made and then firefighters were slow to put out the fires. Poor Oakland,   once better known as the sports  capitol of the world, in the 1970s for having champions in all three major sports  , the Oakland A's baseball team, The Warriors basketball team and the Oakland Raiders in football; now, Oakland will be left with only the last place A's after the Warriors and Raiders split the scene in the next two years

Time to get tough and give the police the support and tools they need to make Oakland a safe place to live, right?

Not a chance! Believe it or not!

NOW, This response by Oakland's leaders is being called a "travesty" -- alas, this is NOT fake news ...

TIMES A CHANGIN' : Race Relations Back Below 1940s and 1950s Figures, Bathrooms In Reverse

Societal Believe It Or Not ...

Race Relations in America are Worse Today Than in the 1940s and 1950s, according to Gallup surveys

It's become so bad now that some universities like Brown are beginning to segregate dorms at request of blacks. And to think all those 50 years and billions of dollars of  'affirmative action' equal opportunity  programs may have gone for naught.

Yet, Bathrooms Now Open To Anyone!
Meanwhile, while some blacks may not want other races to live among them anyone can now go to any bathroom they choose, regardless of race or even sex!
At the same try to explain that anyone can now use a bathroom of the opposite sex just by saying they feel 'closer to the opposite sex'.  Not surprising, we've already seen hundreds of cases of young (mostly boys) getting their jollies by going into girl's bathrooms

Why all the sudden changes in America?  CLICK HERE

Not Sure Yakov Smirnov would any longer say 'In America You Can Always Find A Party'

Yes, Times are a changin' - and as you probably can feel, it's not for the better.

Here we see a similar 'call out' of the Democrat Party as we saw in Dinesh D'Souza's Hillary's America:

A former Super Bowl champion, Burgess spent his childhood growing up in the Deep South during a time when the barriers of segregation were being torn down. He was the third black American to be offered a football scholarship at the University of Miami. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology/chemistry and simultaneously gained national recognition as a first team football All-American. During his college career, Burgess was named to Who’s Who among College Students in American Universities and Colleges. He was inducted to the Hall of Fame   Outstanding College Athletes of America and later to the University of Miami’s Hall of Fame and the Orange Bowl Ring of Honor.

Following college, the New York Jets picked Burgess in the NFL first round as the draft’s first defensive back, the 13th pick. Later that year he was selected as the Jets Rookie of the Year and to the NFL’s All- Rookie team. He played with the New York Jets for 7 years and was selected as the defensive team captain his last three seasons.

After being traded to the Oakland Raiders, Burgess led the Raiders defensive squad in tackles during their championship season and in the 1981 Super Bowl XV game. In his final season, in 1982, he led the Raider’s team in interceptions and was selected as a first alternate to the NFL Pro Bowl. Since retiring from the NFL, Burgess has been involved in the corporate and entrepreneurial arenas. Over the last decade he has traveled throughout the country speaking of the intrinsic principles of freedom that underlie the foundation of our American way of life.

' World's Weirdest Bird ' - And You Think the Mockingbird is Something  !

Post by Birds.

As we admire our favorite hummers they know how much we love them, but just so they don't get too cocky there are other interesting birds out there - that you probably never saw - or heard -of. Like the Superb Lyrebird - it mimics and fools over 20 other bird species, while doing a darn good job doing same for a car alarm, chainsaw and - you name it.SEE TO BELIEVE!   That' s right. SEE it. While the Mockinbird isn't unnatractive, the Lyre is pretty proud of his (yes, they're males) peakcock-like plumage , in addion to his mating calls, which can be like the sweetest whistle / music... (PLEASE CLICK ON ABOVE TO HEAR THE LYREBIRD IN ACTION)

The Superb Lyrebird (Menura novaehollandiae) is a pheasant-sized Australian songbird, measuring approximately 100 cm (39 in) long and weighing around 1 ...and you thought our Mockingbird was the cat's meow, if you will... This one's got it all...

Funny or Scary? Does 'Leader' Pelosi-Speak -er Make Any More Sense than Irwin Corey?

Is it just us or have we really political 'leaders' like this? Listen to former Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi -who could be 're-elected' to that position in 2014-expound on (?) not once, but on five separate occasions and see if you can  make any more sense out of her than, say, Professor Irwin Corey ( a great man of 98, who has provided much humor for Americans over the years, but not one known to,well...listen to him here and you may find he DOES make more sense than the person who really counts, the Democratic leader of the House of Representatives who helps make  governmental decisions that affect us!  Then, please let us know what you think, who makes more sense, Pelosi or Corey by commenting ( and liking, please) on our famous page @

Political Humor or Fright? Does 'Pelosi-Speak -er of the House Make Any More Sense than Irwin Corey?

 1)  NANCY 'I believe in technology' PELOSI's  take on fixing Obamacare   website

 2) PROFESSOR IRWIN COREY'S Take  . Even though he wasn't directly addressing Obamacare - in fact,we're not exactly sure what he is even talking about-  the 98 year old Professor seems to make more sense -or at least sound better - than Pelosi, in our opinion. What do you think? Pelosi or Corey?

Now go back to  and VOTE (comment) your favorite of the two, the Professor or the Speaker , and then take a look at....

Don't you think that Prof. Irwin Corey makes more sense than Nancy Pelosi (and he's not even talking about the website)?

MEANWHILE...Latest Obamacare News...

No wonder HHS Secretary Sebelius didn't want to give out the numbers during her congressional grilling last Wednesday. Out of the prospsective 19 million insurance buyers,we know of 254 for sure who signed up

- SNL does it's take on the Sebelius hearing.

In case one thinks we're 'picking' on Pelosi, this was not just A one time 'edited' edition of Pelosi-speak.

Here are three , intact, and only one edited talks  with Pelosi going back from recently to 2009:

- Nancy 'It doesn't matter' PELOSI with Martha Raditz on ABC 'This Week' Sunday 10/27 morning  , discussing more on the website 'glitch' and Obamacare 'rollout'     Notice, near the end that Pelosi borrows a line from Hillary 'It doesn't matter' Clinton:

-This may be the best one yet... going back a few years to 2009 with Pelosi still on the subject of Economics, specifically the TARP Funding , with Pelosi  'trying to make sense' for Stewart out of what the government did with the funds from TARP. Pelosi talks of 'Accountability' and 'Transparency' and more economics,ie 'PRINTING MONEY and EARMARKS'  'Are we broke' asks Stewart?   'We're coming back,'?'says Pelosi .  Stewart seemed to have a good take way back in 2009 what would later happen ,ie 2013.  'We have done more for education... health care, energy,...pioneering' in the first few months of the Obama administration that ever before, Pelossi concludes:

- Here, Pelosi is again trying to explain government spending, specifically at the time of one of the government bailouts or  'recovery act' as she prefers to call it.

A frustrated  videographer comes in at the end with  his opinion of what Pelosi has to say:

- Pelosi here tells Chris Wallace on Fox News that  it's a good thing to  raise taxes. We don't have a 'spending problem' ,says Pelosi, but a 'budget problem.'  'Nobody's saying it (the budget) has to be balanced,'she goes on... to a rather unbelieving Wallace.
